Locking pages and on-page content In FrameAuth

Locked pages require users to sign in, sign up, or hold a specific tag. Tags can be automatically granted after a purchase or manually assigned by the site admin.

If you want to restrict only parts of a page such as previews, samples, or teasers then use FrameAuth overrides instead of full page locking.

When a page is locked and a user without access navigates there, they will be redirected to the /sign-in page on your site.

How to sync your pages so they appear in the FrameAuth dashboard

Open the FrameAuth plugin in Framer and then sign into your account. If your site is not already connected then do that before continuing.

Once your site is connected to FrameAuth, click the caret in the plugin header then click Sync Pages.

Locking a page to be accessible only to users with the specified tag(s):

1. Go to the Pages section of the dashboard.

2. Lock the page using the lock toggle.

3. Assign any tag(s) to that page so only user with any of the specified tags will be able to access the page.

Make a page accessible to anyone with an account:

By locking a page, you are designating that page to be accessible to anyone who has an account to your website. This is ideal for websites that require sign up via email to access member-only content.

Unlocked pages are accessible to all visitors:

Leave pages like /sign-in, /sign-up, etc. open to all visitors since the user must be signed in to access them. Any page that can be accessed by someone who is not signed in, should be left unlocked.
